What Do We Know for FIFA 21 Demo?

Every year the demo gives players a little idea of what is going to happen that year. You can play as one of the best teams in the game, try different players, see what tactics and formations, and generally get a feel for what’s to come.

While not the most exciting time in the game’s life cycle, it definitely helps break the monotony of the previous FIFA title, and provides a little more anticipation for the full launch of the game.

So there are probably a lot of questions surrounding the FIFA 21 demo. Let’s take a look at what we know so far about the game, when it comes out, and how to get involved.

FIFA 21 Demo Release Date

Although we don’t have set dates, we expect the FIFA 21 demo to be released during the first week of September, before its full release later in the month.

Therefore, the release date of the FIFA 21 demo is September 8, 2020, but we expect it to be released no later than September 15, as long as the current global health crisis does not delay it at all. This puts it in a line similar to that of previous FIFA demos, which seem to be available mostly on the second Tuesday of September.

Will the FIFA 21 demo be on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X?

It’s hard to give exact timelines for things like this, but our best bet would be that the FIFA 21 demo won’t be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.

Although the full game will, of course, be available on next-gen consoles, the release date of the aforementioned demo is earlier than planned, so it seems unlikely that the demo will be on them. Both consoles are expected to launch in the Christmas season, so it won’t be long.

Which teams will be in the FIFA 21 demo?

Which teams will appear in the FIFA 21 demo has yet to be confirmed, though based on last year and the teams that currently dominate the big leagues, we would venture to guess most, if not all, of these teams featured in the demo:

  • Liverpool
  • Manchester City
  • Juventus
  • PSG
  • Bayern Munich
  • Borussia Dortmund
  • Real Madrid

There are usually some less popular teams added to give a more even spread, and in the FIFA 20 demo there were only 10 teams so don’t expect much more than the list above.

How to get the demo of FIFA 21

The demo will be available to download on PS4, Xbox One and PC, and it should be completely free in the store of your respective platform.

This has been the case for FIFA releases in previous years, and there seems to be no reason to change it with FIFA 21, so keep an eye on your console store when the calendars go to September.

That’s what we know so far about the FIFA 21 demo, we’ve had very little information from EA SPORTS so far, but that’s not unusual as they seek to keep the current title a priority.

The EA Play Live event is slated for June 18, 2020, and after that we should know a lot more about what’s to come in FIFA 21, including its official release date, new features, and more.

U7BUY will always be with you during the end of FIFA 20 and the very beginning of FIFA 21. The coins, players and accounts products you may need in FIFA 21 will on the shelf soon. And of course, at a really compelling price.
